My name is Jennifer. I am 9 years old. My house is at 301 Tribal colony in Chinnakkanal. The government provided some land to us inside the forest. Some families were living together here. It was a place where we had to suffer the disturbance from wild animals, especially wild elephants. 8 tribals were killed by the attack of wild elephants. The frightened tribals approached the government. Nobody gave any importance to this incident. Even though the tribals complained again and again, the result was complete negligence. When we cannot suffer this more, all of us together took all our belongings and come infront of the government office. A large crowd including women and children were there. They sent us to another colony. The fence was electrified inorder to prevent the attack of wild elephants. Those who go outside for any job or other purposes should come back before 4 O’ clock in the evening. After 4 O’ clock all the fences carry electricity and it will become dangerous. Children’s education was not at all possible. In this condition I was admitted in the Emmanuel children’s home. I live here happily. Now I study in the 2nd  standard. I got A grade for all subjects. I praise Jesus who gave me wisdom. I sing songs in praise of Lord, study Bible classes and participates in here. I get plenty of food here. I also got new dresses. I want to become a teacher in the coming future. I request all of you to pray for me. Praise the Lord.
